One more victim of the Mad Bomber

So after Mr Jack's Steamworks and Miss Viv's WaterHouse, this is now Mr Pearse's store's turn to be bombed...

Inside the store, a rocket, tangled in the chandelier fallen on the floor seems to be the cause of all the mess around. A thick red smoke still comes from the rocket.

Another smoke, but black this time comes from a big fire in another corner of the store, and by looking closely at the base of the fire, I could distinguish the shape of a cannonball... So.. same author as for the Steamworks and the Waterhouse? Or someone different since there is also a rocket?

In any case, I'm starting to think that this area of New Babbage isn't quite safe.... Should I reinforce the roof of my bakery with steel? :/

My first renter, YAY! (and pancakes)

I'm not sure many noticed it, but I have prepared a room on the second floor of my bakery in Babbage and put a sign next to the front door saying it was available to rent. The sign has been there for quite some time, and nobody seemed to be interested in renting my room upstairs...

But yesterday, I was contacted by a lady named Catherine Kelberry and who was wishing to rent the room above the bakery.

She said she was coming from Scotland and she had very lady-like manners. I couldn't say she was very warm, and she was quite mysterious about her past, but she is my first renter so, Yay!

Also, since tomorrow will be Shrove Tuesday (Mardi Gras) and that Loki planned a pancake urchin race, I made a pancake texture and Jimmy used it to make the pancakes with bacon on a plate. They are in my bakery and everyone can help themselves into a warm pancake with crispy bacon... Yummmm
